SPRING 2008 NEWSLETTER

Dear Members and Friends,

PIR now enters its fifth year of business, continuing to be the largest, most technically advanced range in South Carolina’s Low Country and Georgia’s Coastal Empire.  We are the guys that have ten lanes, we are the guys that have computerized timed & turning targets, we are the guys that use the Caswell System with over 19,000 lbs of granulated rubber, with no chance of ricochet.  We have the only range in the Southeast that can accommodate both down-range law enforcement training and general public recreational shooting, AT THE SAME TIME! Sorry, NO OTHER RANGE CAN MAKE THAT CLAIM!!

In our continual effort to be the best:

Ed Soto and two Palmetto Indoor Range members flew to Las Vegas the weekend of February 1st to attend the world’s largest  firearm’s trade show, The S.H.O.T. Show.  The four day event allowed us to see the latest products the firearms industry has to offer, and bring that information and knowledge back to our members.  Visit the range in the upcoming weeks to see the results of our meetings with manufacturers.  (Thanks to our friends at Crimson Trace, our second “blue gun” demonstration unit will be arriving shortly!)  

Recently, Palmetto Indoor Range conducted an NRA Range Safety Officer course. Eight members of PIR are now certified. 

HANDGUN SALES:

There are common misconceptions regarding the purchase of firearms from Palmetto Indoor Range.  PIR sells handguns to people from just about every state in the US.  It is a very simple process....  Once you purchase a handgun, PIR will ship the gun to an FFL dealer in your area.  You fill out the paperwork there, and go home with your firearm.  The charge for this service is $25.

 

PERSONAL INSTRUCTION:

The hours of personal instruction have increased greatly.   We are now averaging 8-10 hours of  one-on-one instruction per week.   We are pleased that so many people are taking the ownership

of firearms seriously.    Our Introduction To Hand Gun course is so popular that we are teaching this course twice a week.
